Getting Started
Install
- Download Kredi Lab FxPlug from the link you were sent (or from kredi-lab.com).
- Open the DMG and drag Kredi Lab FxPlug into your Applications folder.
- Quit Final Cut Pro, then open Kredi Lab FxPlug once from Applications. On first launch it adds the Kredi Lab effect to Final Cut Pro — no separate installer.
The build is signed and notarized by Formal Imaging Ltd, so it opens normally.
Add the effect
In Final Cut Pro, find Kredi Lab in the Effects browser and drag it onto a clip. The inspector shows the plug-in’s header, the Sync section, and every grading stage in pipeline order.
note
Not in the Effects browser, or a new section missing after an update? See Troubleshooting.
Licensing
Your licence is managed in Kredi Lab FxPlug, the app in Applications that installed the plug-in. Start a free trial or activate a purchase there; the plug-in picks up your licence status live — including the header’s Licensed to line and the updates-until date.
- Trial — the header shows days remaining.
- Licensed — grades render clean (no watermark).
- Manage / Buy — hover the header’s licence line for Manage, or use the Buy / Extend button.
Where things live
| Area | What it does |
|---|---|
| Header | Product, version, licence status, and quick actions (presets, reset, keyframes). |
| Sync | Cross-clip sync buses. |
| Grading stages | ACES, White Balance, Base, Tone, Color Wheels, Selective Color, Creative Looks, and more — each a collapsible section. |
